Where it gets frustrating. Honesty time. The learning curve is steeper than Zapier’s — the first hour feels like a cockpit. Error messages assume more tech comfort than most owners have. And credit-based pricing takes a minute to understand: every step uses a credit, so a busy automation can eat through a small plan.

The alternatives, honestly. Zapier is easier on day one but gets expensive fast as you grow. n8n is free if you host it yourself, but it’s a tinkerer’s tool. Make sits in the middle: more capable than Zapier per dollar, much friendlier than n8n.
